Tipping when you go out for drinks is pretty standard, right - a normal 20% on your tab is what most bartenders expect. But one bartender in Texas got a huge surprise when she saw her tip!
Chelsea Ball was working a dance hall in Cleburne, TX up near Dallas-Fort Worth and cashed out a patron with a $179.50 tab. According to normal standards a 20% tip on that bill would be $35.90, but this customer kept upping his tip amount until he finally wrote down $4,000!!!!!!!!! He says he recently received an inheritance and wanted to tithe it to someone else. Umm...I could use some gas money friend, where you at!
Hopefully that one customer made up for all the terrible tippers out there. Are you a good or bad tipper?
