Have you ever met a Spurs fan that doesn't love Manu Ginobili? Oh sure, he frustrated us a bit with his crazy risky plays, but those same risky plays also made the difference in many important games. For that matter, I don't know many in the league who didn't like him - maybe hated to play against him, but not like him....he was a players player.
And now Manu Ginobili will reportedly be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame on his first ballot - a high honor.
Nothing is official yet, but reports say Manu will be inducted as part of the class of 2022.
Manu won four championships with the Spurs as part of one of the most legendary big 3's in basketball alongside Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. He also won gold for Argentina basketball in 2004. Congrats Manu, we all love you and miss you - wanna suit up? :)
