According to scientists chocolate could become extinct by the year 2050! Cacao could completely disappear as a result of warmer temperatures and weather conditions. The plant needs "uniform temperatures, high humidity, abundant rain, nitrogen-rich soil, and protection from wind" they say.
It's so bad and the threat is so real...scientists are working to tweak cacao DNA to make it more hardy and able to withstand the climate changes!
Damn you global warming, what am I supposed to do after a long day when drinking is unacceptable?! What will women do when the cravings appear. We need to find a new planet.
