Angelina Jolie Sued FBI Over Brad Pitt Investigation

Angelina Jolie has been revealed as the Jane Doe behind an anonymous Freedom of Information Act lawsuit trying to get information from the FBI about why they didn’t arrest Brad Pitt after he allegedly “physically and verbally assaulted” both Jolie and their children while traveling on a private plane. The FBI investigated and declined to press charges.

Jolie’s amended lawsuit is seeking documents related to the meeting between the assistant US attorney and the FBI over the case. Six years after their separation, Pitt and Jolie’s divorce is still a bitter process. Earlier this year, Pitt sued Jolie for selling her stake in their jointly owned winery to a Russian oligarch.

Mariah Carey Faces Battle Over “Queen Of Christmas” Trademark

While Mariah Carey has been unofficially called the Queen of Christmas, there are a few artists out there who are taking issue with her wanting the title officially. Mariah has been trying to trademark the title “Queen of Christmas” but now she’s facing a possible legal battle over it thanks to singers Darlene Love and Elizabeth Chan.

While Mariah is known for her holiday hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” Love has also been synonymous with Christmas, particularly for her rendition of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” a classic she would sing each year on “The Late Show with David Letterman” before he retired. Meanwhile, Chan is known for being the only singer-songwriter who releases exclusively Christmas music, and even has an album called “Queen of Christmas."

And now both are taking issue with Mariah wanting the title for herself. Chan’s attorneys have filed a formal declaration opposing Mariah’s trademark request, and when Love found out about it, she also shared her outrage over it.

So far Mariah hasn’t commented on the controversy.
