Beauty and music are coming together because e.l.f. Cosmetics is giving the spotlight to emerging artists on a new album called Get Ready With Music, The Album.

Get Ready With Music, The Album features 13 songs by emerging global artists, including Alana, Betty Who, Black Gatsby, Dianna Lopez, Jenita, Mariangela x Cola Boy, Meduulla, Olivia Reyes, TFM and Cakes da Killa, Tasty Lopez, Zoe Ko, and Charlotte Rose Benjamin, the latter of which created the album's lead single "Hairpin."

According to a press release, Get Ready With Music, The Album, "gives a megaphone to self-expression, extending the definitions of beauty. Redefining the viral GRWM trend, e.l.f. offers anthems for every mood and moment. The tracks are upbeat, creative and impossible to forget, each one dedicated to brave listeners who embrace their individuality. "

"Hairpin" is already the top-performing video on e.l.f. Cosmetics' YouTube channel, and in an exclusive interview with iHeartRadio's Emily Curl, Charlotte explained of how her collaboration with e.l.f. came together as she recalled, "Sean at Madwell, the agency that represents e.l.f., saw me playing a show at Elsewhere in Bushwick. I was opening for a band called, Sorry, it was like two years ago, a band from the UK. And then a year later in the fall of 2023, he approached me, gave me some keywords about what e.l.f. was looking for, for the project, and I made a demo really, really fast. Sent it to him. They liked it, recorded it with my band in Ridgewood in my drummer Monty's Basement. Everything was just fast, fast, fast. They liked it. They gave us so much control, and it was really fun to just be able to write my own song for it."
