Gigi Hadid's Father Seemingly Hints That She's Already Given Birth

Did Gigi Hadid already give birth to her baby?

The model’s father, Mohamed Hadid, may have let it slip that his daughter welcomed her first child with Zayn Malik. At least this is what fans are speculating after Mohamed seemingly confirmed his grandchild’s arrival in a since-deleted Instagram post on Wednesday (September 16).

Rumors started swirling after Mohamed shared a handwritten poem on Instagram for his “little grandchild,” titled “Grandpa’s Heart.” (FYI: Mohamed is already a grandfather, but it goes without saying that he’s obviously referring to Gigi’s unborn (?!) baby.) According to Us Weekly, Mohamed began his note sharing how proud he is of Gigi, before expressing his love for his future grandbaby.

“Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be,” his poem read, per the outlet. “I wish for you the sun & moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that grandpa’s always near, to do anything, anything for you my dear.”

The Israel native has since deleted the poem altogether, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating that Zigi’s baby has already arrived.

As Us pointed out, one user who commented on the post took notice of Mohamed’s use of the Arabic phrase “safety my love Gigi,” which they explained is used “when the mom gives birth.”

However, when a fan asked the 71-year-old patriarch straightforward whether Gigi had given birth, he replied, “no not yet.”

As fans know, Gigi confirmed her pregnancy in late-April, and her mother revealed shortly after that her daughter was due this month. Since then, the runway star has shared several photos and videos of her baby bump, most recently in a high-fashion photo shoot.
