Ariana Grande Hits The Bronx As Ex Pete Davidson Jokes About Breakup

Ariana Grande seems to be leaning on the support of her loved ones since calling it quits with Pete Davidson

On Saturday (October 20), the “Goodnight n Go” songstress was photographed in a leisure apparel, Starbucks drink in hand, walking through the Bronx with her mom and friends. The pop star was spotted in an oversized sweatshirt, leggings, sneakers, and with her stylish bun, — her off-day aesthetic of choice, lately.

Coincidentally enough, Ari's sighting came the same day her ex-fiance addressed their breakup for the first time during a comedy benefit show in West Hollywood.

"Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on," he told the audience, according to PEOPLE, quipping, "Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”

He continued: “So, obviously you know I, we broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos. And it was like in a magazine like, 'Was Pete Davidson stupid?' And 93% of it said yes. So my boy, he was like, 'Don't listen to that s**t man. They're literally f**king haters.' And I'm like, ‘Yeah, f**k that. I'm not stupid.’ And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, 'Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'"

Apparently, an unlikely romantic future caused them to separate. The death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, may have also played a role.

Since their split, the Saturday Night Live star has been "covering a bunch of tattoos" and staying with family in New York City. Despite looking quite miserable in his first public sighting earlier this week, insiders claim he's "doing just fine."

Ariana said "bye bye again to the internet" in light of her "sad" breakup just hours after giving her first performance since parting ways with Pete and reportedly giving back that $100K engagement ring.
