Salt Cathedral's 'No Love' Deserves To Be On Your Radar

After being touted as one of the must-watch groups at SXSW this year, indie-pop duo Salt Cathedral has given us a very good reason to keep them on our radars with the release of their new music video for "No Love."

In the four-minute clip, viewers follow one half of the duo, Juli, as she makes her way through Cartagena, Columbia, where she takes in the beauty of the inner city and sees natives offering their best dance moves. However, it's not just a clip centered around a choreographed routine as "No Love" has a deeper connotation involving universal similarities. We all have a common instinct to move our bodies no matter our class, race, gender or birthplace, and the video showcases just that.

"This music video is very important and meaningful to us because it shows how dancing and music can connect us all - it's a common human experience - and making it was exactly that," the duo said in a press release. "The song talks about how we all have bodies and we can choose to love each other and dance instead of taking a fighting path. We were very excited to go back to Colombia to shoot it and we're stoked to share a little bit of our beautiful country and its beautiful people through our art."

Along with the rest of their music, "No Love" is a self-written and self-produced cut that has been released in anticipation of their upcoming full-length debut LP via Ultra Records. Make sure you follow them on Instagram if you like what you hear!
