RAYE is preparing to drop her new single "Genesis" this Friday, June 6th, and she will soon be celebrating her latest release with an intimate iHeartRadio LIVE performance on June 24th in Virtual Reality!
To get fans excited for her new single, iHeartRadio is giving you a sneak peek of RAYE's performance of "Genesis." During her performance, RAYE's beautiful vocals captivate the crowd as she brings a jazzy feel to the stage.
The sneak peek begins with a strong melody before RAYE memorizes the room singing, "She's a sad little sinner, in the mirror. The devil works hard, like my liver." The song then transforms into a jazzy tone, where she continues singing and showcases her insanely wide vocal range.
RAYE posted several photos on Instagram about "Genesis" and announced that fans can now purchase a vinyl with the seven-minute song and an instrumental version. When describing the new song, she wrote, "It kind of hurts a bit to call this piece of music a ‘single’ because it is so much more than just a song to me. This song is a 7 minute labour of love I have been working on since 2022, I have chipped away at, scrutinised, replaced, redone, passionately sculpted this song to become what you will hear in 7 days."

During her iHeartRadio LIVE performance in VR only in Meta Horizon Worlds. RAYE will perform some of her hits, including "Genesis," and sit down for a Q&A hosted by iHeartRadio personality EJ. Fans can watch the show on Monday, June 24th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
